Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India and was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park to protect the endangered Bengal tiger. It is located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand and was named after Jim Corbett who played a key role in its establishment. The park was the first to come under the Project Tiger initiative.
PAGODA’S MANU MAHARANI, CORBETT is located in the heart of Jim Corbett National Park. 11 acres of gardens have been landscaped at different levels to offer you a feeling of tranquility to sit & stroll at leisure overlooking the clear waters of River Kosi, flanked by cliffs and forest.
Corbett National Park is one of India’s best when it comes to tigers. Manu Maharani Corbett is located very close to the park and can be easily visited, being all of ten minutes away. Tiger tours and other wildlife safaris are organised by the staff on a regular basis. The resort is fringed by a cropping of mango orchards and lots of greenery. The cottages have an ethnic look that makes it blend in with nature. Experience the nature charm as the resort has kept the jungle rawness alive. The property also offers lounge areas and dining options along with indoor and outdoor recreational activities options. Safaris and jeep visits to the national park for guests are organised every morning and evening. You can then get to see the wildlife up close and personal. This place offers time to enjoy and work too. It has a formal conference hall, which makes the word wo-cation a real deal! Best part about the resort is that it has access to River Kosi, so you can just enjoy relaxing at open forest faced restaurant overlooking Kosi River listening to the nature’s melody. Due to the high-temperature animal sighting around the river is more frequent. You could be lucky to spot a tiger cooling up on the river bank. This jungle retreat is definitely a chance to detoxify your body and soul.
A sumptuous ‘round-the-clock’ buffet of Indian, Chinese and Continental foods prepared hygienically is what a guest is welcomed with.
