After early breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to New Delhi Railway Station to board your train SHATABDI EXPRESSS (0740/ 1145hrs) to Kalka.

Arrive Kalka @ 1115hrs and connect Toy Train (1210/ 1720hrs) to Shimla.

Kalka- Shimla Toy train is the best way to reach Shimla from Kalka. UNESCO world heritage committee had included this Toy train in the world heritage list on 2nd July 2008 but this was officially declared by UNESCO as world heritage site on 9th Nov 2008. This railway with meter gauge track was built by the British in 1903 to provide an access to their summer capital Shimla, which is the most scenic train journeys in India. The distance between Shimla and Kalka is 96Kms, which passes through 102 tunnels and 87 bridges. It connects Kalka at an altitude of 656Mtr to Shimla at an altitude of 2150Mtr from the sea level. There are around 900 curves and sharpest curve is of 48 degree. This five hour journey is one of the best train journeys operated by Indian railway.

Shimla is a very popular hill station and the capital of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is also called the “Queen of the Hill Stations” because of its unmatched natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 2,200Mtr from the sea level, Shimla is one of the best tourist destinations in North India.

You will be well received on your arrival at Shimla railway station and transfer to hotel.

Arrive Hotel and check into your room.

In the evening, stroll around Mall road, which is a prime attraction of Shimla with restaurants, clubs, banks, bars, tourist offices around it. The place becomes awesome and more romantic in the evening because of its wonderful view in the lights.

After Breakfast at hotel, proceed for city tour of Shimla, visiting Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, located in the Viceregal Lodge, which was constructed in 1888. Sankat Mochan Temple- is located at Taradevi on the Kalka- Shimla National Highway and one of the most important temples of the town. Jakkhu Temple, is located at an altitude of 2455Mtr from sea leave and dedicated to Monkey God- Lord Hanuman. One can also reach this temple by hill trek through the beautiful deodar trees.

In the afternoon, you can visit Kufri if time permits.

Kufri is a small but a beautiful hill station near Shimla, known for its scenic beauty. Situated at an altitude of 2,500Mtr from sea level, Kufri is popular for its picturesque trekking & hiking trails and natural beauty. A horse ride up to Mahasu Peak is an experience not to be missed.

In the evening, walk around the Mall road for shopping etc.

After Breakfast at hotel, drive to Manali through enchanting peaks and valleys.

Manali is a beautiful hill station situated at a height of 2050Mtr from the sea level in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The landscape is really beautiful and breathtaking. It’s a beautiful hill drive and you can have a majestic view of snowcapped Himalayan peaks and the Beas River with its clear water running through this beautiful hill station. The city is abundant with deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards. It is an excellent holiday destination and also known as the “Queen of Hill Stations”.

Arrive Manali in the evening and check in to your hotel.

After Breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit Rohtang Pass (3979Mtr), which is 51Kms from Manali and the highest point in Manali on Keylong- Leh Road. One can have an excellent view of the majesty mountains and the glaciers from here. You can have some rest here to enjoy this snowy heaven. You can even participate in snowbound activities (on direct payment). Take a sledge ride down the slopes and try your luck climbing the beautiful snow hills.

After enjoying the beauty of snow capped mountains, drive down to Solang valley, which offers a breathtaking view of glaciers and snow capped mountains. The Mountaineering Institute has installed a ski lift here for training purpose. The most common sports offered are paragliding, zorbing, horse riding and Lift to Phathru peak to view Pir Panajal ranges. You can even participate in these activities (on direct payment).

In the later afternoon, proceed for city tour of Manali, visiting Hadimba temple- dedicated to goddess Hadimba- wife of the Pandava brothers Bhim of Mahabharat. Vashist hot water spring & temple- 3Kms from town, a small village located on the left bank of river Beas, which is renowned for its hot springs and temples. After Breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit Kullu & Manikaran (75kms & 4hrs drive).

Manikaran is a pilgrimage centre for both Hindus and Sikhs in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated in Parvati Valley between Vyaas and Parvati rivers. As per Hindus, Manu recreated human life in Manikaran after the flood, making it a sacred area. It is a amazing place popular for Shiva temple, Ram temple, Gurudwar and hot water springs. It is believed that on this place, all the wishes come true and a holy dip into the hot water removes all the illness and the sins of people.

After sightseeing at Manikaran, drive to Kullu (45kms & 2hrs drive) and visit some temples etc.

and return to Manali in the evening.

After early breakfast at hotel, drive towards Chandigarh.

Chandigarh is the first master planned city of India designed by Le Corbusier, a French architect. The city was named after Goddess Chandi- the Goddess of Power and renowned for its architecture. Chandigarh is the capital of the two Indian states of Haryana and Punjab but this is not a part of any of them, as it is a Union territory and administered directly by the central Government.

Arrive Chandigarh and check in to your hotel.

If time permits, proceed to visit The Rock Garden, which is the main tourist attraction in the city. Built by Nek Chand, the garden comprises of art objects that have been made out of the urban waste material. Rose Garden- which is named after India’s former President Late Dr. Zakir Hussain. This is the largest Rose Garden in Asia and spread over an area of 27 acres and has more than 1600 varieties of roses. Apart from the roses, one can see some medical plants also along with some unique species of trees to enhance the beauty of the garden. The annual “Festival of Gardens” is organized here in the Rose Garden in February every year.

After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Chandigarh railway station to board Shatabdi Express (1200/ 1520) to Delhi.
